Garland Sir Patrick "Pag" Peacefully at home in London on 6th August aged 94. Beloved husband of the late Jane, father of Philippa, Ned and Oliver. Memorial service at 2.30 on 20th September in Hampstead Parish Church.

Thank you Ned and Oli for your invitation to join you at the service in Hampstead on the 20th Sept for your father, but I won't be able to attend, you will however be much in my mind that day. I had very much enjoyed Sir Patricks company over several years, and continued to meet him from time to time at Lords, as we both enjoyed cricket, and talking about it so much. So we had kept in touch, Christmas cards plus perhaps a Norfolk tale or two. A lovely man who loved the countryside in the proper sense. Norman Dodd.
