WINTER GORDON JAMES (Fred) Of Knapton. Soldier, Policeman and Diplomat. Passed away peacefully at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, aged 77 years. Much-loved husband, father and grandfather. Funeral service will be held at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Knapton on Wednesday, August 28th at 2 p.m, followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, to benefit St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Knapton (cheques payable to Knapton Church Fund), may be given at the service, or sent to Gordon Haynes Independent Funeral Services, Marshall House, Midland Road, North Walsham, NR28 9JR.
