Thetford Town bounced back from their midweek 5-1 Norfolk Senior Cup semi-final defeat at King’s Lynn in style.
They extended their unbeaten Ridgeons League First Division run to six games with a convincing 3-0 victory at title-chasing Stowmarket Town.
Matt Blake put them ahead after four minutes and only a string of fine saves by Kevin Bugg prevented Thetford adding to their tally until Simon Mann doubled their advantage after 56 minutes.
Liam Bolton and Dan Jones both struck the woodwork before Blake added his second after 64 minutes.
This Saturday Thetford entertain Team Bury, 3pm kick-off.
On Tuesday March 1, Town are at home to March Town United, 7-45pm kick-off.
