Dickleburgh are Crown Fire Central and South Norfolk League champions for the first time in over 20 years. The only team that could have reached the same number of points, Gressenhall, were beaten 3-1 at home by Swaffham Town A and therefore Dickleburgh take the league title with a game to spare and by a margin of at least one point from Bridgham United who are now confirmed as runners-up.

This is Bridgham's highest ever position since joining the league and is due reward for club stalwarts like Reg Bezants and Simon Bell who have been part of the club for so long and have had some lean times in the past.

In the other match, Dereham Town A repeated their midweek Ambulance Cup win over Hingham Athletic by beating them 4-0 in the their last match to finish a very creditable third in Division One.

Swaffham's win over Gressenhall moves them up to fourth spot, a position which they will hold unless Gressenhall can take at least a point from their last match with Dickleburgh.

Thetford Rovers Reserves are Division Two champions, having beaten Hingham Athletic Reserves 6-0 at home.

This is a remarkable achievement by the south Norfolk team who have now lifted their third consecutive divisional title in three years since rejoining the league.

Tacolneston finish as runners-up and Bunwell beat Nostro 4-2 to make sure of finishing third.

The race for the runners-up medals in Division Three will go to the last day of the season. Castle Acre Swifts won 7-3 at Hindolveston to finish on 47 points but Hethersett Athletic dropped two points in being held to a goalless draw by Sporle in a very tight match which neither team deserved to lose.

Meanwhile, Northwold S&SC won 5-3 at Bawdeswell. This all means that Hethersett must beat Northwold in their last match next week to pip Castle Acre to the runners-up spot and promotion on goal difference.

On the other hand, if Northwold wins that match, they will move above Hethersett into third place and Castle Acre will take the runners-up medals.

Splitz United are the Division Four champions - they won 3-1 at Rampant Horse to ensure that they cannot be caught by Thurton & Ashby who confirmed their runners-up spot with a 3-2 win at Stoke Ferry.

The success of Splitz and Thurton demonstrates real improvements on last season when they finished sixth and ninth in Division Four respectively. Breckland Wanderers and Stoke Ferry are also promoted to Division Three.
