A councillor swapped paperwork for parachutes to raise money for a charity that helped him and his family through bereavement.
Roger Atterwill, from Swanton Morley, took part in the tandem skydive which saw him freefalling at 120mph from 13,000ft to raise money for East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).
The charity jump has so far raised £2,585.
Mr Atterwill, who is a Breckland and parish councillor, wanted to help the charity after the death of his baby granddaughter Bonnie Webster on February 10 last year.
EACH helped him, Bonnie’s parents Megan and Lee Webster, from Mileham, near Dereham, and the rest of the family after her death.
“I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported me with their donations and kind words of support,” he said.
“EACH provided tremendous care for my daughter and her husband after Bonnie’s death, and they helped provide them with physical memories that they can keep for the rest of their lives such as casts of hands and feet."
