A Norfolk deli is celebrating after being granted an alcohol licence in time for its first birthday.

Litcham Deli, in Litcham's Church Street, was launched by married couple Kit and Rhiannon Agnew on November 28 last year.

Since then, they have opened another site, the Rudham Deli in East Rudham, and have more recently been awarded an alcohol licence to serve local beer, gin and spirits at Litcham.

Litcham Deli stocks Norfolk and Suffolk produce from suppliers such as Fen Farm Dairy, Pump Street Chocolate, Sandringham Apple Juice, Bray’s Cottage Pork Pies, Welly Boot Bakery and Cardarelli’s Cakery.

But Mrs Agnew hopes the new alcohol licence will extend their relationship with local businesses even further.

"Some local gin distilleries would like to come in and do things like tastings," she said.

"We would also like to host some ticketed evenings with drinks and maybe some tapas which will be added to the calendar for the new year.

"We're really finding our groove now and figuring out what things people want.

"People have said it's lovely to see so many local products all in one place and it's meant a lot to us.

"We've achieved so much at Litcham as well as at our sister site and are just so proud."
