Tesco, Lidl, B&M 'do not eat' warnings and product recalls

Food items such as biscuits and milkshakes have been recalled due to a number of reasons including undeclared allergens and ingredients.

Here are the product recalls to be aware of in February 2024. 

Tesco

Tesco is recalling its 18-pack of cupcakes because some packs have been mispacked with Tesco 12 Party Cupcakes that contain soya, which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya.

Best before: February 27, 2024

Anyone who has bought the above product and has a soya allergy is urged not to eat it.

Instead, customers should return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund, with or without a receipt.

Co-op

Co-op is recalling its Treat Brookie Bar because it may contain milk, which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Best before: All date codes up to and including March 1, 2024

People who have bought this product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk are urged not to eat it and to return it to the nearest Co-op store.

B&M

B&M stores are recalling the Biscoff Shake Up Milkshake Set because it contains a milk protein, which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Lidl

Lidl is recalling its Duc De Coeur Salted Caramel & Chocolate Tartlets because they contain soya, which has not been emphasised in bold in the ingredients list.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya.
