A yellow heat-health alert has been issued for Norfolk as the mercury is set to soar to 28C today.
The alert, which has been issued by the UK Health Security Agency and Met Office, was put in place at 1am today and will last until 9am tomorrow.
Norwich, King's Lynn, Diss and Thetford will be the hottest with temperatures hitting 28C in the next 24 hours.

The warning highlights the problems the hot conditions could cause for older and vulnerable people.
According to the Met Office, the sweltering heat is forecast to quickly cool with tomorrow's temperatures reaching a milder 23C.
The agency has warned that minor impacts to health are probable and there is the risk of increased use of health care services.
